POLISH - DIFFICULT REMOVAL FROM PLASTIC MOULDINGS

Unsightly white polish trapped in grained surfaces of plastic mouldings, i.e. bumpers, claddings, mirrors, taildoor handle etc.

Cause

Accidental polish contamination of plastic components during valeting.

Action

Remove polish traces with Tefoil + PTFE, part number STC 4224. An oily residue will remain following removal which must be removed with panel cleaner to restore gloss levels.

Note: Repeated use of this treatment on the same component area may result in degradation of plastic. For this reason routine use should be avoided and care taken to avoid contamination of plastic components when valeting.
