Problem -
TAILDOOR GLASS WILL NOT RAISE OR LOWER - REGULATOR FAILURE
Although the glass is inoperative the sound of the regulator mechanism may be heard when attempting to raise or lower the glass.
Cause
The taildoor glass regulator cable has failed.
Action
On customer complaint of the above problem, replace the taildoor regulator with the new part detailed in PARTS INFORMATION. For replacement procedure, refer to Workshop Manual repair number 76.31.65. Please note the cautions in the repair procedure concerning the correct glass remove / refit process and care of the glass heating elements during handling.
