Problem -
WATER INGRESS - REAR OF HEADLINING WET
Water enters roof rear header section causing wet headlining at rear of vehicle.
Cause
Water passing through plastic lokuts in body outer header section, see photo.
Action
Referring to the illustration below, replace the five header lokuts for the latest sealed type.
1. Remove taildoor glass side finishers ‘A’ and taildoor glass upper finisher ‘B’, refer to Workshop Manual repair numbers 76.43.81 and 76.43.74 for removal procedure.
2. Undo the five fixing screws and remove the metal finisher retaining bracket ‘C’.
3. Remove the five plastic lokuts from body and discard. Replace with new lokuts ‘D’ part number DYH100980.
4. Refit metal finisher retaining bracket.
5. Refit upper finisher using new trim retention clips part number DYC101470.
6. Refit side finishers using new trim retention clips part number DCE100560.
7. If headliner is wet, do not remove. Dry out thoroughly with gentle heat directed locally
