Freelander - 5 Door Roof Rails
Fitting Short Roof Rack kit STC7932
Note STC50444 is the same but with more aerodynamic cross members.

Roof rails and cross members |

Parts supplied (Note tools are not supplied) |

Remove plastic covers on roof trim with flat head screwdriver |
 |
Place bolts through holes and place washers underneath |

Fit gasket to underside of roof rail,. Note positions of roof rails |

Remove torx head bolts and discard. Warning: To avoid mis-aligning bracket A do not remove bolts individually. Loosen both bolts with a torx spanner and then unscrew both simultaneously by hand. Fit new bolts simultaneously by hand and tighten with torx spanner |

Fit roof rails to vehicle |

Tighten torx bolts simultaneously by hand |
 |
Then tighten to required amount with torx spanner |
 |
Fit plastic covers on roof rails to hide bolts. Then adjust cross members to fit roof rails. |
