1. Remove underbelly panel.

2. Remove the RH front road wheel.

3. Remove the bolt securing the engine lower steady to the beam.

4. Remove the bolt securing the engine lower steady to the bracket on the sump.

5. Remove the engine lower steady.

14. Fit the IRD support bracket and tighten all the bolts only to sufficiently pull the mating faces together.

15. Complete the tightening of the bolts, securing the IRD support bracket in the following sequence:

  • Tighten 5 bolts securing the IRD support bracket to the IRD, and tighten to 50 Nm (37lbf.ft).
  • Tighten the bolt securing the IRD support bracket to the cylinder block to 45 Nm (33lbf.ft).
  • Tighten 3 bolts securing the IRD support bracket to the sump to 45 Nm (33 lbf.ft).

16. Position the engine lower steady bracket to the sump, fit the bolts and tighten to 100 Nm (74 lbf.ft).

17. Fit the engine lower steady, fit and tighten the bolts to 80 Nm (59 lbf.ft).

18. Fit the underbelly panel.

19. Fit the road wheel, and tighten the wheel nuts to 115 Nm (85 lbf.ft).
