Part No. RSTC4637 - Cost £11.57 ex VAT

Two needed

Open Rear Door
Fold Rear Seats fully forward
Remove all accessories from boot
Undo 6 torx screws from rear and keep safe
Undo panel retaining clips
By turning 90 degrees anti clockwise and then pull out
Undo Phillips screw in rear load cover holder
Undo torx bolt from rear seat belt at floor
Pull away rear door seal where it meets rear lower panel
Pull rear panel towards centre of vehicle, being careful of electrical connections
Do the same with the opposite side rear panel

Undo the 3 screws holding the rear light lens

Pull light cover forward to expose rear connectors. The lower red one is the foglight connector that is going to be converted.
Remove the foglight connector and note only two connections, foglight live and earth.
Remove yellow retaining clip
Using a very small screwdriver unclip the connectors from the holder.
Then slide the connectors out of the rear of the holder
The new three pin connector to be fitted
In the same way that the connectors were removed from the two pin holder do the same with the three pin holder but leave the rear light live as shown
Fit the wires removed from the two pin holder to the three pin holder. Note foglight live is middle and earth at end
Refit yellow retaining clip
Untwist and remove existing foglight bulb holder
Fit new three pin bulb holder with new dual element bulb, this is slightly tricky as one of the securing lugs is too big for the hole and has to be coaxed in. The hole or the lug could be trimmed using a sharp knife
Fit connector to bulb holder, it will only connect one way, and refit rear light lens
Slide wiring into rear of car.

To connect the red wire to the rear lamp circuit it needs to be extended slightly using the bullet connector and a length of 8 amp wire, (8 inches should be sufficient). This wire should then be spliced into the wiring that goes to the rear light in the bumper, and exits the body through a rubber grommet in the rear corner. The rear wire is red/orange, but this should be confirmed by removing the rear bumper lens and confirming the colour of the wire, (don't confuse it with the brake light)

Lastly check operation of all lights before refitting panelling in the reverse of removal, any problems or questions please email me.
